Bad Bill Sheet—February 11, 2025
With dozens of bad bills hurtling toward the finish line, Republican Senators are making no effort to stop them
The list of bad bills in the pipeline each week continues to grow. Here’s what’s in play this week (now 34 pages):
No Senate Bills Contested So Far

It only takes one Senator to stop any bad bill in its tracks. Contact your Senator and demand that they object to—or fix—the bad bills on the floor immediately!

S.28 - AI child porn bill mandatory minimums
Pages 5-6 of the Bad Bill Sheet explain why these are bad, and what to do with them.
In addition to these, a number of very seriously bad bill are in up for debate and possible votes in House and Senate committees.
In the House, subcommittee is the place to stop these bad bills in their tracks—it may be the only opportunity to stop them in the House!
Be Informed—But Be Active
Politics is not an ideas game. Politics is a numbers game.
The legislature is not a meritocracy. Legislators do not care about constitutionality, conservative principles, or the unintended consequences of their actions.
Politicians can’t read (apparently), but they CAN and DO count.
This Bad Bill Sheet is not merely “for your information.” It is intended to encourage and equip you, and your legislators, to stop bad bills! Only you can stop a bad bill, by contacting your legislator and mobilizing your friends to do the same.
You did it last year: you stopped the “health czar” bill.
Please consider this weekly update your political intelligence on incoming threats to your freedom and liberty, and act accordingly.
Thank you for sponsoring the Bad Bill Sheet, and for sharing it!
